Last night we had some rain storms...with a little Thunder & Lightening. It lasted through the early morning too. Actress came in to our room because it woke her up & she had gotten scared. I'm Gonna Miss it when my kids stop coming into my room for shelter & making their little bed on the floor when they get scared by something.

These pictures were some of the outtakes while trying to get a decent Family 4th of July picture. You know we always have to have one silly one!

This one isn't that funny of me, but more of what you know who is doing in the background...He earns his name well my friends.

This picture is of me & Model on the same bus at the Children's Museum. I know very flattering picture of me. Actress was driving so we were pretending that she was hitting bumps in the road. Just being silly...all the while Stunt Man is bouncing all over the bus. Crazy kid.

I ♥ McDonalds & their BOGO free McCafe drinks everyday from 2-5. Yum! I am also digging their punch cards buy 4 McCafe drinks & get 1 free. That’s a free drink once a week. I love FREE!

Francesca Battistelli’s new CD My Paper Heart is awesome! You totally need to pick up a copy. You will love it! We listened to it on the car ride down to Virginia! Fabulous!

Slip & Slides are the best way to cool off when you don't have a pool & you don't want to spend a lot of money. My kids spent half our vacation Slipping & Sliding for $9.99!

I love my new BLOG look! The colors scream Summer! Thanks Heather from Adventures of Aidanpod...You did a great job changing it up! You are the best!

Thank you Jesus for a safe trip to Virginia. Praying that we have a safe trip home because we will be leaving on Monday for Michigan!

I am having a wonderful vacation. I have seen old friends, met blogging friends, & spent so much quality time with my girls! It has been Amazing!

The first Friday I was in Virginia, I met Leah from A Silly Little Sparrow. What a fun meeting we had. She is so sweet!

Then on Tuesday Night I met 6 amazing blogging friends for dinner at Firebirds in Durham NC. The food was awesome & the company was great! We had the best time talking, eating, laughing & just having a GIRLS NIGHT OUT. If you have not been to any of these ladies blogs, you totally need go visit & introduce yourself. They are wonderful IRL as well as blogland. They all love the Lord, are genuine & sweet! I sure wish I lived close enough to hang out with them on a regular basis.

Thanks ladies for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet for dinner. It was a privilege to meet each one of you...Liz from Tidbits From Liz, Beth from Heading Towards My Destiny, CC from His Heart, Miti from Pieces Of Me, Mel from A Voice For Moms & Tara from Keeping Up With The Kellys.

I'm Gonna Miss each one of you blogging friends...I hope that when I come back to Virginia we are able to meet up again.

Then on Wednesday afternoon on our way back to VA from NC, I was able to meet up with my Old BFF Cyn. We met at a McDonalds in Raleigh, NC & chatted for over an hour. What an awesome time to spend with an amazing friend! I loved seeing her & catching up.

I'm REALLY Miss our chats, so call me!

Yesterday I took Actress & Model for a tea party at the Painted Lady Tea Room. We had the best time. I enjoyed just hanging out with the girls. It is rare...but I plan to do it more, because before I know it they will be grown & it will be even more difficult to make the time for a GNO~Girls Night Out.

These pictures were taken on vacation at the Virginia Zoo! They were taken in the botanical gardens. The Virginia Zoo is a very beautiful zoo. The flowers are amazing & the fountains that the kids can play in are an added bonus.

This picture may be our Christmas Card this year. I love the backdrop of nature we have.
